IGLA Immobilizer Transit Mode

The Transit Mode on an IGLA Immobilizer is a deep standby mode designed for long-term vehicle storage, transport (like shipping a car), or extended stays at a facility where you need all anti-theft and comfort features fully disabled.
Unlike Service (Valet) Mode—which is meant for quick maintenance trips and can automatically disengage once the vehicle hits a certain speed or driving duration--Transit Mode will never exit automatically. It completely silences the IGLA system, and it will only re-engage when you manually enter your PIN. To prevent accidental activation, Transit Mode has a strict safety gate: it cannot be entered if a paired smartphone or IGLA key fob is within range, or if the system has already authorized you. How to Engage Transit Mode You will need your Emergency Code (the unique 4-digit code located on the plastic scratch card provided by your installer) and your designated Service Button (often a cruise control button, traction button, or high-beam stalk, depending on your vehicle's configuration).
1. Prep the vehicle and key fobs: Required first step. Ensure any registered IGLA key fobs or paired smartphones are turned off, placed in a Faraday bag, or moved completely out of range of the vehicle.
2. Turn on the ignition: Do NOT start the engine. Turn on the ignition without starting the vehicle (keep your foot off the brake pedal when pressing the Start button).
3. Enter your Emergency Code: Using the brake and gas pedals. You will enter the 4-digit Emergency Code one digit at a time:
4. Activate Transit Mode: Using the Service Button. Press your vehicle's designated Service Button exactly 5 times.
The dashboard indicator will flash 5 times to confirm that Transit Mode is now successfully engaged. You can now switch the ignition off.
How to Disengage Transit Mode Because there is no automatic exit for safety reasons, you must manually wake the system up.

- Release the brake pedal.
- Repeat this process (hold brake -> press gas for the next digit -> release brake) for the remaining three digits.
