This is Thinkwares first Premium 4K Dash Cam with Sony STARVIS 2 Technology Recording in stunning 4K UHD @ 30 fps or 2K QHD @ 60 fps, thanks to its 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX 678 sensor and a 158º field of view. Additionally, its rear camera captures 128º in 2K QHD @ 30fps through a 5MP Sony STARVIS IMX 335 sensor.
With the new Sony STARVIS 2 technology, the Thinkware U3000 has improved low-light performance and contrast, provides high resolution and clarity, while also lowering power consumption in parking mode.

Built-in Radar Parking Mode The built-in Radar Sensor takes parking mode recording to the next level by providing smarter and more efficient surveillance. With minimal power consumption, the Radar sensor uses high-frequency radar to monitor motion around your vehicle, allowing for longer buffered parking surveillance. You'll have footage of events leading up to any incident, giving you peace of mind. Setting up the parking mode has never been easier with the free universal Thinkware OBD cable included in the package.

Enjoy parking protection against potential mishaps and hit-and-runs by capturing footage when an impact or motion is detected (hardwiring cable or OBD-II cable required; OBD-II cable included). You can also tailor the U3000’s Parking mode based on your surveillance needs by choosing from Motion Detection, Time Lapse, Energy Saving Parking mode, or new Radar Parking mode.

​Radar Parking mode is a low-powered recording mode that utilizes the U3000’s built-in front and rear radars to monitor motion with minimal power consumption (requires hardwiring or OBD-II cable, OBD-II cable included). This allows for longer parking surveillance with buffering so you have footage of events leading to an incident. When a motion or impact is detected, the U3000 will save a 20-sec video clip of the incident (10s before and after the motion or impact is detected).

Smart Parking Mode

This safety feature prevents heat-related damage by automatically switching the U3000 to a low-power mode if the temperature inside the vehicle gets too high during Parking mode. In this state, the dash cam records incidents triggered by impacts only until its operating temperature is safe again to resume Motion Detection or Timelapse Parking mode.

Storage Capacity, Upgraded With high-resolution 4K UHD files, it's important to have sufficient storage capacity that's why Thinkware has upgraded the default storage capacity of the Thinkware U3000, allowing it to support microSD cards up to 256GB, compared to previous 128GB. Also adding the option of a changeable bitrate for the first time, allowing users to alter the file size of videos, along with Thinkware's staple advanced memory partitioning options. Stay connected with built-in Bluetooth and Dual-band WiFi. Enjoy seamless connectivity in any environment with dual-band WiFi that allows faster file transfers. Pair your compatible Android or iOS device with the dash cam using the Thinkware Link App and the Thinkware Connected App, and effortlessly replay your latest driving videos or manage your dash cam's settings.
